Reflective Essay 2

I really enjoy every time when I finish my writing and post it on Wix. The sense of achievement is incredible. I feel like a blogger or a journalist whenever I post something on it, so in order to be as professional as possible, I would particularly check the spelling error in the articles. Other than that, after using Wix, I think it kind of increase my aesthetic and organizing level because how to design a comfortable reading web page is a crucial element when learning how to use it. Also, I think peer-assessment of Wix is a good thing to do as sometimes we cannot see our own mistakes and missing by ourselves, and thus having another pair of eyes to check for us is quite helpful. Overall, I think Wix is a good website worth using it. For me, it’s really relaxing to create and design a web page that belongs to me only after spending so much time on writing a long article. Another reason that I like it is because Wix provides me a platform to show my work to others. Usually when we post our assignment on Ecourse, the only person gets to see it is the teacher, and there’s only plain words for teacher to see. However, with the help of Wix, we can show our work to classmates or friend, and post the article along with some pictures to make the whole reading experience more colorful and fun. It’s more like reading through magazines or blogs than reading through tedious homework. Therefore, I enjoy using it a lot. Nevertheless, I still encounter some challenges when I first start to use it. The two biggest problem are that I kept forgetting how to crate a new article and how to put the article to the right column that it belongs to. It’s undoubtedly a mess at the beginning. I needed to call out for help every time that I needed to upload my work. Thanks to my friends, who answered my call again and again and answered my repeated questions, so I could live through that horrible Wix rookie time. But now, in my opinion, I have grown into a mature Wix user. I can post my work smoothly without any hesitation. I don’t need to bother anybody to finish the posting process, which is a huge progress! I’m quite proud of myself. In the future, I think I would continue to use Wix, but not the one I’m currently using. I would probably create a new one and post other contents like I don’t know maybe food diary or something else. At last, thanks teacher for sharing this website with us, and hope that everyone can benefit from using Wix.
